A year has passed in the blink of an eye. I miss your freckles, I miss your quiet, calm, assertive nature, I miss your strong, but elegant presence. In the last year I’ve learned how much I really lost when I lost you. You’ll always be my heart horse, the horse who set the bar for those who follow.
